Esterleane
Resort Supervisor
Esterleane’s favorite thing about working at Firehouse is being able to help clients with their pets’ needs. She is driven by her passion for assisting animals and educating clients. She treats pets like her own family, collaborating with owners to ensure that each pet is receiving the best care. Clients appreciate that she takes a patient, individualized approach to greeting pets. Esterleane will always give pets the time, space, and support they need to adjust to their visit.
She is excited for the Pet Resort to offer additional support for clients and pets. Esterleane joined the Firehouse family in 2018 as a Veterinary Technician. She uses her Fear Free training and experience with pets to ensure that all visitors at the resort feel comfortable and safe. Her favorite thing about the Pet Resort is the playrooms, especially the front one because clients can watch their pets play through the windows.
Esterleane received a Bachelor of Agriculture in Animal Science from Texas State University. To continue to grow in the field, she loves to study new techniques to help pets and owners with home care, attend training seminars, and read leadership books. Her heart belongs to her two dogs: Oreo, a laidback Heeler/Lab mix, and Molly, a tiny but fiery Maltese. She also loves plants. When not helping pets at the resort, she loves to go fishing, play games with her family, watch movies, and dance.

Ashley
Resort Attendant
Ashley’s passion for pet care helps make every client and pet feel welcome as soon as they enter the resort. She knows that boarding can be stressful for clients and pets, so she lets clients know what to expect and how their pets did. Ashley is patient with all pets, giving fearful animals grace and space to adjust to the resort. She works hard to earn and keep clients’ and pets’ trust. She is always happy to cuddle with willing pets (especially cats!).
Ashley’s heart belongs to her Boston Terrier, Jango. Currently, she is studying Pre-Med at Austin Community College. Her goal is to get into medical school and study anesthesiology. When not working, she loves to work out, take walks with Jango, draw, or spend time with friends.

Vanessa
Resort Attendant
Pets are always happy to visit Vanessa at the Resort. She greets everyone with a warm smile, learns each pet’s unique personality and needs, and makes sure clients feel comfortable dropping their pet off. She works with clients to ensure pets have the best time at the Resort, answering questions and providing updates.
Vanessa takes time to get to know pets who visit the Resort. She reads their body language and adjusts her approach to help pets feel comfortable. Her top priority is making sure pets feel safe. Because of her compassionate and detailed approach, she is able to form lasting bonds with all pets. She also loves providing mental stimulation to dogs and providing individualized playtime.
Vanessa completed an internship with Firehouse before joining the Resort. Her goal is to become a veterinarian. In her free time, she loves to paint, hike trails, float the river, and binge watch TV shows. She has two dogs: Diesel, a young German Shepherd with tons of energy, and Chubbi, a chihuahua mix, and a cat named Maru.

Daniela
Resort Attendant
Daniela makes the Resort a safe, comfortable place for clients and pets. She loves getting to know all the pets who come in, forming bonds and learning about each pet’s unique needs. Clients appreciate that Daniela treats each pet like her own, comforting them and providing the best care. She follows up with pets after their visits to make sure they are still doing well and that the clients are satisfied with their pets care. Daniela enjoys learning new Fear Free techniques and ways to care for all animals. Her patient, slow approach helps pets acclimate to the Resort.
