Individual playcare options
We know it can be difficult to find a facility that provides options for intact dogs. We provide individualized play for dogs who are not spayed or neutered to ensure a safe and stress-free experience. This is also a great option for dogs who do best outside of a play group or who prefer one-on-one time.
Trained team members to watch over your pet
In addition to being passionate pet lovers, each member of the Firehouse Pet Resort team has completed detailed animal care training so they can:
- Read canine and feline body language
- Monitor play behavior and group activity
- Recognize stress signals
- Identify and report health concerns (limping, injuries, behavior changes) to the veterinary team
For pets who need a little extra support or monitoring during their stay, our team of veterinary technicians performs routine checks, administers medications, and provides follow-up care. A veterinarian and veterinary technician are also on call over the weekend to ensure your pet is cared for every step of the way.
Spacious environments and small groups to minimize stress
With multiple playrooms, outdoor spaces, and boarding areas, we can give dogs the space they need to truly relax and enjoy their stay in a way that feels natural to them—whether that’s hanging out with friends, watching from a comfortable distance, or enjoying one-on-one playtime. Our feline guests stay in a designated cat room filled with natural light and comforting amenities, including private condos, a calming sound machine, a fresh water fountain, and a cat tree for climbing and exploring.
We intentionally keep playgroups small to ensure safer play and protect less outgoing dogs from feeling overwhelmed. A resort attendant is always present to supervise play and provide personal attention.
Flexible care for newly diagnosed or injured pets
If your pet’s needs change before their booking, our close relationship with Firehouse Animal Health Centers means you don’t have to change your itinerary. We simply adapt your pet’s care plan so they can continue their treatment or recovery with us.
Whether your pet needs help getting around, daily medications, hygiene care, or other specialized assistance, a dedicated veterinary technician is always available to ensure their routine is followed with precision and care.
